Flawlessly finished, these stunning modern design handles / fasteners are designed for casement type windows.
These versions are lockable via a small allen-key which is provided with each handle.
The dual-slotted keep plate supplied with this casement fastener allows for full and partial closing, so when you may want or need to ventillate a room without leaving the window open, the second stop point in the keep allows for a small ventillation gap rather than fastening the window closed fully into its sealed position.
We also have matching casement window stay arms, available in related products further down the page!

Hi, guys. My name is Darrel and I'm head of the tech team here at LocksOnline. Thanks for taking some time to tune in and have a quick look at one of our product review videos. Now, we've put these short little videos together to be able to give you, our customers, the opportunity to see the products we have to offer, in hopefully a little bit more detail, so therefore they help you make a bit better of an informed decision as to whether or not this is the product that you are looking for in the flesh, so to speak.
So today I want to show you an incredibly stylish window casement handle that we have on our website and when you feel the weight of this, you know it's been made with a forethought that it's about quality and it's hard to try to explain to you whilst I've got it in my hand the quality of this particular product here, incredibly well-engineered. It's beautiful design, etc. Obviously, design is a personal thing, but looking at this and looking at the way it's been built, I'm very impressed with its build quality indeed.
So as you can imagine, they are handed for obvious reasons because they are cranked, etc., so this is the right hand version so therefore then it would be situated on the right hand of the actual window itself. And of course, this one also, if you could zoom into there for us, you could see it has a little grub screw and the idea about grub screw, it allows you to lock the actual handle into its lock position there by throwing that grub screw down into a hole that's situated just there. I don't know if you can actually see that there, and therefore that keeps then the handle in the locked position and therefore you need to have an Allen key in which to unlock it there like that.
So it comes with a set of screws as well also. The idea is that, I need to undo that a little bit more there. The idea is obviously it allows then you to be able to open the handle like that, open the window open like that, and when you go to close it then, basically you close it like that, and then that holds it into place.
Now this is the actual keep here, and as you can see it's got two grooves there. One would be the locking groove, and then the other one then would be the ventilation groove so if you wanted to open the window and keep it slightly ajar to get a bit of ventilation, lock it down, and therefore you're going to get the degree of ventilation. Again, the build quality of this is absolutely sublime. I can't vouch for it enough to be honest with you. It's incredibly beautiful quality there.
What I'll do, what you'll need to consider as well is if you can see here, that if you're fitting this on your window, you're going to need to be able to drill yourself a small little hole in the window with a flat-bit there, because that's going to have to sit down into a recess. This would sit flush but that there would have to be sitting in a bit of a socket or in a bit of a hole that you're going to drill.
To give you some sort of idea there, you need to be looking to drill at least a 5 mm hole on the diameter there off around about the 7, maybe 8 mm diameter hole there as well. Now while I have this in my hand, what I'll do, is I'll get you some quick little measurements here, so the fixing centres there, I'm going to be putting those round about the 44, 43 mm mark. The overall length of the actual plate there is well. It's quite hard so I can't get it down the surface. There's about 55 mm overall. The actual size of the fixing plate, if I give you an overall length there, is about 65. Its fixing centres there, I'm going to be cutting that right around about the 53 mm, and its width, also, which is quite important there is 19 mm.
Yeah, I'm really impressed with that. Yeah, impressed with the quality of that. Sorry for carping [SP] on there, but I'm quite impressed. So if you need a bit more information on this or any of the products that we have on our website, pop us over an email, use the live chat that we have, or simply pick up the phone and give us a call. We'd love to hear from you, and more importantly, we'd love to see you as one of our customers. So from me, Darrel, and all of us at the team, thanks for taking the time to tune in, and catch with you real soon I hope. Take care. Bye-bye.
