These well built folding brackets are designed to allow you to fold away table legs on temporary tables or fold-out table leaves.
These particular bracket hinges will accomodate 38mm x 38mm table legs, and are designed to lock in place in both the open and folded-away positions.
Crafted from solid steel, and using a simple but reliable locking mechanism, these are fairly heavy duty and will have no problem doing a great job of supporting heavy tables while in the upright position.

Hi, guys. My name is Darrel, and I'm head of the tech team here at LocksOnline. Thanks for taking some time to tune in and have a look at one of our product review videos.
Now I'm putting these short, little videos together to be able to give you, our customers the opportunity to see the product that we have to offer, and perhaps in a little bit more detail than you'd expect with an image and a bit of descriptive text.
Today I want to show you one of the products that we have to offer. It's a hinge that's designed to work with a leg on a table where you want to be able to lock the table leg away at certain intervals, and then when you want to use the table, you want to be able to drop the leg down and allow that leg then to support the table.
This is the actual product here. The design is quite simple. That was obviously now when the table is actually situated in the downward motion. If you wanted to lift the table up out of the way, the idea is that this device here, I don't know if you can zoom in there for us there. All right, this has a spring-loaded catch here. So it's actually locked into that position. It's not going to go anywhere, so there's no chance of the leg giving way. But when I actually push that in there like that, and I push that in there like that, I can now fold that table away, and it will automatically then lock in the up position. So you can imagine if you've got a table top with a couple of legs underneath, you can now fold the table legs away and then drop the table leaf. So that's the basic principle of it. To be able to get that out, you push the lever in again like that, and then that quite simply come back out there like that and then locks into that position.
A beautiful hinge in that respect. They're sold as a pair, and they're in a galvanized finished. So what I'll do is, let's get some quick little measurements here. So therefore then give you the opportunity to see it, you know, if it will fit your particular application.
The overall width of this particular part here is just over 40 millimetres. But as that part there is movable, and we push that in there like that, then you can go . . . you're limited at this particular point here in regards to that width there, the inner width. Guys, you can probably get away with 38 millimetres in there. The actual length of that particular part there is just over the 50 mil, 51 millimetres, and it has three screw fixings there to allow you to fix to whatever substrate that you go into. Obviously 10 mill in most respects.
This is the part then which would actually sit underneath the table. The length of that there again is just over 50, maybe 52 millimetres, and of course the width then is slightly more there, 43 millimetres. Again, it has three fixing points as well. Now these don't come with any screws. You need to get your own screws, because it depends on whether or not you're using metal table legs, or whether or not you're using wooden table legs, and of course if you're screwing up into a wooden or a metal table.
But there you go. It's nice to see with a video the operation, and hopefully will give you a more informed decision whether or not this is the product that you're looking for. If you need a bit more information on this or any of the products that we have on our website, by all means, pop us over an email. Use the live chat that we have, or simply give us a call.
