Hi, guys. My name is Darrel, and I'm head of the tech team here at LocksOnline. Thanks for taking some time to tune in and have a look at one of our product review videos.
Today I want to talk to you about the range of LED lighting that we have now on our sister site, LocksOnline.com. There's a massive range of different types of LED lighting for kitchens, display units, commercial applications, all point of display, for your bathroom, for your bedroom, your living room, etc. And this particular type of point and display type of LED lighting that we've got is absolutely fabulous. It's very, very elegant. So pop on down and have a look at this LED light fitting.
It's called a point and display sort of light fitting. It's on a bar like that. So let me explain to you how it actually gets fitted and how it actually works. If you can zoom in a little bit here into this end here, what I'll do is I'll just unscrew this a little bit here. I hope my fingers aren't too far in the way. So what you would do is drill yourself a hole. If I can just pull on that there like that, and get that out of the way like that. Okay. So there's your actual fitting there. So what you would do is you would drill yourself a hole into your substrate. You'd feed your cable through. This then gets screwed then onto the actual substrate itself. That allows you then to move this, if that wand is fitted, it allows you to move this in and out of the actual slot itself.
Once you've got it screwed in there, this cover goes over there like that and gets squeezed up nice and tidy. This is a flute that sits in there, and then you go and put this screw on here. And I don't know if you can get in there. Maybe my fingers are in the way. But that will screw in there tight like that. I'll just get a little bit of friction over there, a little bit more. There you go. Okay. So now, you're in a position to now alter this if that's the one. You can alter this in and out depending on your particular type of application. So once you've set it where you want it, screw it a little bit tighter and it's then there solid as to where you want it to be.
Now, on the business side of this LED, you have a very, very small LED that's sitting in here. I don't know if you can actually zoom in close enough to see that. And there's a slight pivot action here on the actual fitting head as well allowing you then to either have it in a wall pointing down or in a display cabinet or to a side, etc. Really look at highlighting anything that you think that you need to highlight.
Now, if you're thinking that this is the system, 'Oh, yeah. This is going to be really impressive,' this is what I want to try and do, then you also need to consider then also having one of these transformers. This is the 350mA range of Loox LED lighting. And these little red indicators here you'll need to take. If you just have wall fitting you plug it into the end there. But if wanted to have up to four, because this one will drive all of these units, you would then pull these out depending on how many fittings you have. If you have two, you need to pull one out. Three, you need to pull two out, etc.
One of the distinct advantages of this particular type of transformer is that it has this little square box connector on the side here that allows you then, if you wanted, to put a switch in place. And this is the typical switch that comes. It's probably one of the most popular switches that we have. And it's a very, very simple just on and just off switch. That's all it does. And that's roughly about an 11mm hole and the projection is about 20mm.
So without any further ado, let's plug this lamp in and give you an opportunity to actually have a look at it working. So if I was to plug that now into there like that, that's in there nice and tidy. There you go. And there you are. That's the type of light that you're going to get out of there. Now, if I was to put my hand over there that's quite intense. Very, very direct; very, very intense in a specific area. See if you're trying to light up a model or you're trying to light up some sort of crystal vase or something like that then this is going to look really, really, sweet in regards to the design and setup. See if you want to have a look you can see there, that light there lighting up the top of the unit here.
So what I'm going to do now is I'm going to just very, very, quickly, just pop this switch in here and plug this in here like that. And now, I have the ability to actually control it. So switch on, switch off. Switch on, switch off. So there you go, guys. That's just one of the hundreds of different varieties of light fittings that we now have on LocksOnline.com. We're really, really pleased that we're able to offer these and on this massive range.
If you're not so sure about this fitting or you think, 'Oh, you know, I could do this,' or, 'I want to do that,' we would love to talk to you. We want to talk to you. We want you to engage us. We want you to pop us over an email. I'm sure that will find a solution for you. So use the live chat that we have on our website. It's totally free and you can either speak to me or any of the guys in the tech team or the sales team. We'd love to hear from you and, more importantly, we'd love to see you as a customer. So from me, Darrel, and all of us here at the LocksOnline team, thanks for taking the time to tune in, and we'll catch up with you real soon. Take care, bye-bye now.
