This piece if lighting art is designed for surface mounting and comes complete with the bracket for top fixing onto a mirror. The screw fixings are also included.
The Giro mirror light comes with an IP44 rating, which means is can be fitted in a bathroom or anywhere where occasional splash backs are expected.
With its steel finish, it would look incredibly chic and up market in a hair salon, beauty boutique or high-end restaurant bathroom.
Current: 350mA. Wattage: 2x3.2W
This particular LED comes complete with a 1.8m lead with Loox 350mA connector.
You will need to order a Loox 350mA driver and mains lead separately. If you also want to use a switch with this LED, that too will need to be ordered separately.

Hi, guys. My name is Darrel and I'm head of the tech team here at LocksOnline. Thanks for taking some time to tune into one of our product review videos.
Today I want to talk to you about our massive range of LED light fittings now that we have on our sister site, LocksOnline.com. We have decided to go into LED lighting as part of design and interior design etc., which LocksOnline is more geared around. We have a lovely range of LED lighting that could be used in your kitchen, in your utility, in your living room, in your bedroom, even in your bathroom. To no exception is this absolutely fantastic LED lighting that is designed primarily to be in a bathroom, but I can't see any reason why it can't be on your vanity, mirrors, etc. and so forth in your bedroom as well. So just have a look at this styling of this actual device here.
So the idea here is that this would actually sit on top of a mirror or vanity display, depending on what you're planning on using it for. This actual part inside here, this beautiful stainless steel finish has a row of LED lights in there and the idea is that the LED lights actually shoots up into the plastic there. If I put them around there like that and show you, you should see it like that. It goes up through there, down through the glass, and actually shines out through the bottom. It's absolutely amazing. We're going to power it up in a second just to show you just how beautiful this fitting is.
Now, of course it has an IP rating, it's basically splash proof. It's a beautiful piece of engineering as far as I can see. But if you're thinking that this is absolutely ideal for what you want to do, what you also need to consider is getting yourself one of these drivers. Now this needs to be in a part or environment, if you're thinking of putting this in a bathroom, guys, this needs to be in a safe environment. This needs to be outside of the wet areas. So you need to speak to an electrician if you're thinking of fitting this in a bathroom. In your bedroom, it's not so important. You could just plug it straight into the mains. But obviously, bathrooms, water, big no-no.
So what you would need to do for this particular type of transformer is designed to take four of these fittings as you can see here. These connectors that you can see here, if you were only using this one fitting, of course you would these three in. They're called bridging wires. But if you wanted to have two of these, say one over the male and one over the female mirror, then you can actually take these, one of these out and plug them in one of these units.
Now, also it comes with a low voltage switch. This is the actual switch here. You can have it. It sits into the side of the actual transformer itself. And it allows you then, you can sit this by the side of your vanity unit and then when you want to operate this, you simply switch that on, switch that off. The engineering of this, you're looking at a 20mm flute and about an 11mm hole would need to be drilled for that particular unit there.
So let's go plug this in and then you'll be able to see for yourself just how beautiful the light is on this particular device. So if I was to plug that into there like that, there you go. Now we're plugged in. And look at that. Absolutely beautiful. So the lights are actually transmitting from in the base here. It's actually being kept in the actual glass or the Perspex all the way down here, so the light then is concentrated immediately underneath.
If I were to point that up to the camera, probably the iris would try to close. This is incredibly bright in regards to what light is coming out of that. So of course, not only, but if you had the switch, we would plug the switch into the side of the transformer and pop that into there. I now have complete control of being able to switch it on and off. Isn't that just a beautiful piece of LED lighting and technology?
And of course, we have a whole massive range of LEDs and light fittings that we have on our LocksOnline site. So if this one isn't for you, have a look around. We have loads on there in all different styles, all different contemporary spot lighting, etc. Lighting for your kitchen units etc., we have plenty of lighting etc. down the bottom, we actually have lights that operate the sound to light as well. It's pretty amazing.
But listen, if you need a bit more information on this particular unit, all the measurements are on our website. But if you want to ask a question that maybe we haven't thought of actually putting down on the site, by all means give us a call, use the live chat room that we have on our website, or by all means, use the email. Give us an email. Either way, we'd love to hear from you and, more importantly, we'd love to see you as a customer. Come online and have a chat with us. From me, Darrel, and all of us at the team, thanks for taking the time to tune in. We'll catch up with you real soon. Bye-bye now, bye-bye.
