The Loox Plastic Touch Free Dimmer is a small and stylish switch, which has a sensor range of 0-80mm. The dimmer switch will dim the LEDs to co-ordinate with the brightness of the room.
It is designed for recess mounting in 12 x 47mm diameter hole, but you can also opt to surface mount. The surface mounting housing will need to be purchased separately:
Loox Black Plastic Switch Housing for Surface Mounting
Loox Switches Housing for Surface Mounting
The Loox Plastic Touch Free Dimmer is plastic with a silver coloured finish and can be fitted to blend in with most surroundings.
Wattage: 0.3 - 75W
Please be aware that this switch can not be used in combination with the multi switch box - 833.89.060.

Hi, guys. My name's Darrel and I'm head of the tech team here at LocksOnline. Thanks for taking some time to tune in and have a look at our product review videos.
Now we are trying to put these short little videos together to give our customers the opportunity to see the products that we have to offer in a little bit more detail, and perhaps give you a little bit more information that maybe we haven't written down or we haven't been able to display in the pictures, etc. On our sister site, LocksOnline.com, we have a massive range of LED lighting and today I want to talk to you about one of the dimmable switches that we have that will work in conjunction with the ranges of LED fittings that we do have on our site.
Now this particular dimmable switch, you need to be considered that it doesn't work with all of the fittings. So you need to check to make sure that it will be with the light that you decide that you want to have and make sure that this particular switch will actually work with that light. If you're not sure, pop us over an e-mail or use our live chat on our website and we'd be able to help you out. The purpose of this video is to be able to show you the product and to show you exactly how it actually works.
So we've got it set up with a transformer, as you can see here. This is a typical 12-volt transformer and we have a typical 12-volt flush fitting LED light here to our side. This is the actual switch itself here. It's all plugged in and ready to go. If you're thinking that this is exactly what you want, what we are going to be talking about is the actual switch itself and the switch that you see displayed doesn't include the transformer or the light fitting, this is just the actual switch itself. The idea of this switch is it can be mortised in, although there is a surface housing for it to be able to fit to. And by me being able to move my hand over the fitting like that allows me to switch the light on. As you can see there, as I'm moving it across there, to my left there I've got that light that's coming on.
Now what I can do also is if I pop my hand on it like that and I put my finger on it like that, it will actually make this brighter and brighter and brighter. And then, once it's gotten to its maximum brightness, it will then dim it all the way down. So you can decide as to how much light that you actually want. All right. So again, if I switch it on I can switch it off and whatever dimness or brightness that I'm actually looking at wanting to achieve.
So if I wanted it to be that bright, then I just have it on that and I can switch it on and off, and if I want it to be brighter I can hold my finger on there like that and it will dim down and now it will go brighter until I get maximum brightness to exactly what I want to achieve. There you go, that's about as bright as it will go and then I'm able to then switch it on and off like that. So that's the purpose of this particular switch compared to the other type of switches that we have on our website.
By all means, if you need a bit more information or you want a bit more of advice, by all means pop us over an e-mail or use the live chat that we have on our website. It's totally free and you can talk to me or any of the guys in the sales team or, alternatively, pop us over a telephone call. The number's on the top of our website. So from me, Darrel, and all of us here on the LocksOnline team, take care and we'll catch up with you real soon, Take care. Bye-bye.
