The Loox Plastic Motion Detector Sensor is a small and discreet sensor designed to work in conjunction with Loox LED lighting.
This particular sensor is designed for recess mounting in 13 x 60mm diameter hole. It can also be surface mounted for which surface mounting housing will need to be purchased separately:

Hi, guys. My name is Darrel and I'm head of the tech team here at LocksOnline. Thanks for taking some time to tune in and have a look at one of our little, short product review videos to give you, the customer, an opportunity to see the product that we want to talk about in the flesh and give you an opportunity, and for me an opportunity to discuss to you exactly how it works or how it functions.
On our sister site, LocksOnline.com, we have a massive range of LED fittings, and what I want to talk to you today about is the range of switches that we have that work with these LED fittings. The one that I have here in front of me is the motion detector LED fitting, sorry, LED switch that's designed to be fitted into units or cubicles, anywhere where, once it detects motion it will switch the lights on. The particular switch that we have here will switch on and stay on for 30 seconds, assuming that it has not detected motion in that period of time. Once motion has left, etc. after 30 seconds the light will switch off.
Now these will work on the 12 out of the 24 volts systems that we have on our website and what we've done is we've set up here a typical LED light to be able to allow you the opportunity to see how the particular device works, of course, as soon as I get in front of it and I start using it, it's going to detect me and it's going to come one and then I will have to sit here then for 30 seconds at a standstill if I want to switch it off, which unfortunately isn't going to happen. So, let's actually get it out now. Actually, automatically, moved it, and by me moving it, this actual fragile lens on the front here has detected my motion because I moved it away from the transformer here and now it's actually switched itself on.
Providing that still sees motion that is going to continue to keep that light on to my left here on all the time. Now the actual unit itself . . . I'd like to get a little measurement on there for you. The actual thickness of that there is 11.5 mils. You want to be looking at drilling about an 11 mil. hole and this would actually slide up into the unit that you want to fit this all particularly into, like a dressing unit or a clothing cupboard or anywhere where you think that, once you open the cupboard this will detect the motion and it will switch the lights on automatically. Close the cupboard, and the lights then will go off after 30 seconds.
Now, the angle, that is actually on our website there shows the elevation of the angle, so if there's actually setting up in the, in the roof of the cupboard, then it will actually show the angle then in front of it to see how much range it actually does have. So, there you go guys, it's just a simple, little way of being able to explain how the actual switch works and it gives you an opportunity to see that in the flesh. If you're thinking that this is something that you want, please consider that you need a transformer and obviously the light. I'm just talking here about the switch in this particular application.
