Hi, guys. My name is Darrel and I'm head of the tech team here at LocksOnline. Thanks for taking some time to tune in and have a look at one of our product review videos.
Now, today I want to talk to you about to Loox LED lighting that we have on our sister site, LocksOnline.com. It's a massive range of different types of lighting that can be used for mood lighting or ambiance lighting around your home, your kitchen, or your bedroom, etc. The particular type of light fitting that I have here today is the RGB, the red, green, blue type of little lights that you can use to create some sort of mood lighting either in your living room, your lounge, around your bedroom, or your kitchen, etc.
This particular type of light fitting is a disc, as you can see there. And it's designed that you got the LEDs that are sitting in there, and these will change colours to suit the particular application. Now, this particular kit comes with its lead there like that. The measurements are on our website, and it also comes with a self-adhesive pad to allow you then to stick this underneath a unit or wherever you think that you want to be able to create some sort of ambiance lighting.
Now, that's the actual light fitting there, as you can see it. Now, to get this all to work what you need to consider as well is you need to consider a controller. This is a controller. That's the actual controller itself there. It's also a distribution board that sits there, allowing you to connect up to four of these particular types of light fittings. There are two on that side and then there are two on that side. We do bigger distribution units as well, should you want to create more lights in different areas.
Now, this particular controller works in conjunction with this particular type of hand controller. And it comes in a little packet like that, and that's the actual controller like that. And this you could screw wherever you wanted to, to be able to turn around and then just pop that back straight in there like that. And that allows you then to keep it nice and safe. Now, as you can see here, you've got some different types of settings. You've got all the different colours of the rainbow across the top. You can pulse this by turning around and changing it in whatever settings that you want there.
And then you've got a little buttons here that allow you then to randomly change colours, etc. I'm going to go through this now, and I'm going to set this all up for you. Also, you need then the transformer. This is the particular transformer that we supply with these units in which to power it all via the main supply. It's designed to work on a 12-volt system. So to get this all to work, it's quite straightforward. What you would do is you would plug in your controller into the actual transformer like that. A little blue light flashed on there then to say it all accepted it. You then plug that into that there like that. So if I was to plug that in there, there you go. That's done.
Now, that particular light fitting is now all plugged in. Of course, this would all be dressed nicely and tidy away. And if I was to pull this controller out of here now, I can then switch that on there. And as you can see, it's going through all the different colours. And you can imagine that now in some sort of mood lighting that you might have.
By changing these particular types of settings and if I can put this here like that you can see the two together, this one here kind of fudges the light as it's doing there now. It's just generally going through all the different colours of the rainbow. This particular switch here makes it a bit more aggressive, as you can see there. It's either on the different colours. And then the actual rotation one here allows you to select a colour depending on the mood that you particularly want. And, of course, all the way through to red, all the way through to white there, as you can see. All right. From red all the way through to white. So there you go, guys. This is absolute fantastic piece of kit. It's available on our website, LocksOnline. And now available and, of course, as I've said, you can have up to as many of these via the transformers, etc.
Now, these particular units are pulling around about 1.2 watts. This is around about 30 watts, so you can sit down, do a little bit of math, and it can tell you then how many that this controller can work on this particular type of lights. To give you some sort of idea of measurements here, let me just get the actual measurements across the back there. The actual size of disc there is around 58mm, just in case you want to know how that would sit on whatever you decide you want to put it on. So there you go. Obviously, this controller will control quite a few of those lights.
So just to recap. You can buy yourself your lights. You can get yourself a controller. You need a transformer and a lead, and then you get yourself the actual hand unit then to allow you then to control them all. So I just put that on there and I could rotate that there while I'm chatting away to you. If this is something that you think, 'Wow. This is just ideal. It's exactly what I'm looking for,' then, guys, we got it on our website, LocksOnline.com.
But if you need a bit more information or you want a bit more advice, by all means pop online. Use the live chat that we have on our website. It's totally free. You can speak to me or any of the guys on the tech team or the sales guys. And we can talk you through how this would actually work in your particular application. We'd love to see you. We'd love to see you as a customer, so come on and have a chat with us. So from me, Darrel, and all of us here at the team, take care. We'll catch up with you real soon. Take care, now. Bye-bye.
