This Loox LED 2006 Illuminated Glass Shelf with Built-In on/off switch is display lighting and feature lighting progressing at its best.
This would be ideal to add a bit of lighting drama to your home or for a retail business. A vase would look like a work of art sitting on this shelf.
This is designed for surface mounting and comes complete with the fixings required. It also comes complete with a 175mm depth, tempered glass shelf.
The overall aesthetic is completed with silver coloured anodised aluminium, with satin frosted glass. The simplicity behind the design element really allows the LED itself and whatever item sitting on the shelf to be the sole focus of attention.
It also comes with a 2.0m lead with connector.
This LED Glass Shelf comes in 2 sizes; 600mm and 900mm; and is only available in cool white.
You will need to order a Loox 12V driver and mains lead separately.

Hi, guys. My name's Darrel and I'm head of the tech team here at LocksOnline. Thanks for taking some time to tune in and have a look at one of our product review videos.
Now today, I'm going to talk to you about our massive range of LED lighting that we have on our sister site, locksonline.com. And this stuff we have here today is an LED lighted glass shelf. Which means that the actual shelf itself is actually light by a row of LEDs and is part of the fixture and fitting of the actual shelf itself.
So come on down and let's have a look at this particular shelf as you can see it. Now I've got all the bits and pieces here laid out onto the top of the display cabinet we have here. This here, if I was to take this first of all, is the fitting, is the unit that would be designed, that you would screw first onto the wall. Then it comes with some holes here that allows you to use what screws you think are relevant in which to fix it on onto the substrate, whether it will be timber, whether or not it will be a wall etc., depending on the application that you have. But that there would actually be the part of the shelf would actually be held onto.
Including that then this is the actual box or the unit that the shelf would sit into. And as you can see there over on this side you got a switch that allows you to switch the LEDs on and off underneath the actual unit itself so it would in effect sit like that. I don't know if you can zoom in enough there for us, but you can see inside there. And if you just get the angle just right you can see the LEDs actually inside the fitting there, as you can see. And you've got these little . . . well, they're not glass. They're plastic little screw threads here that hold the actual shelf into place.
So first and foremost, once you've actually fitted this to the wall, if we can imagine that's actually on the wall like that, that would then sit on the actual unit then in there like that. Okay. That's the way it looks. Sorry. Wrong way around. That would sit in there like that, it's quite hard to handle because of the length there. So once it's actually screwed in like that, that would actually hold. I'm just holding that the actual bracket itself, which screws to the wall, and that holds the whole complete glass assembly into place. In only if you can zoom in close enough there you can see how it sits over there like that, and then sits into place and holds it on there like that.
So that's the actual mechanical part of it. So let me put that down on the side there. It comes with a lead. It's part of the 12-volt system. And what we've done here is we got a transformer that is available to power this particular fitting. What we've done is we've actually plugged it in as well. So the actual shelf itself, the measurements are on our website in regards the overall measurement of this, but this is the actual shelf itself. It's kind of frosted glass. It's frosted on one side and then its shiny on the other side. The idea is that would actually then sit inside here, if I can get that in there like that, that would fit in there like that and those little fittings then would screw down and hold that shelf into place. So that's the basic principle of it.
And when you've actually plugged it all in, if we turn the light on, and there you go, guys. That's the whole shelf illuminated then as you can see there. Okay. So that's how it actually works. I don't know if you can zoom in there just to get the angles and the ambience. It's quite difficult here under the studio lights but that's the actual fitting itself. That would be actually quite nice if you wanted a lovely piece of display items or anything like that on the shelf. You know it would look really, really, really nice.
So there you go, guys. That's the light fitting that's available. It's a shelf system that's available on our website, locksonline.com. And a massive range there. But listen, if this particular product really doesn't suit you and you think, 'Well, you know I need something,' we've got some other types of shelf lighting systems as well in case you wanted your own shelving systems that we can have these rays of light you see in different products you see on our site.
