The Loox Compatible 12V Moveable Square Head Board Bed Light is one of the more quirky and alternative LEDs we have in our range. It is ideal for all those late night readers out there or for someone who wants a subtle light to fall asleep to.

It is such a simple application. There are no fixings involved. You simply slot over your headboard.
This is the thinner LED option which is perfect for slotting over the end of a single bed headboard. It's not an overbearing light, which means it is possible for one person to read, whilst the other person sleeps. However, if you wanted a thicker LED for a double bed then you can check out the thick version of this headboard LED - 833.02.140; Alternatively, you could purchase two thin head board lights to go on either end of the headboard.

It comes with a polished steel finish and white opaque cover. The simplicity of the design will suit any bedroom and you don't even have to keep it on the headboard. You can simply remove it and place it somewhere out of sight until required.

It comes complete with a 1.8m lead with a Loox 12V connector, however you will need to purchase the Loox 12V Driver, mains lead and switch separately.
Voltage: 12V, Wattage: 2W

Loox Compatible 12V Move Thin Head Board Bed Light

Hi, guys. My name is Darrel and I'm head of the tech team here at LocksOnline. Thanks for taking some time to tune in and have a look at one of our product review videos.
Now today I want to talk to you about our LED lighting range that we have on our sister site, LocksOnline.com. And, more importantly, this particular light fitting has been designed to work with a headboard on a bed. The idea is that if you've got yourself a headboard at the back of, obviously, your bed, this particular unit actually hooks over the headboard. Or, if you've got some sort of units around and the headboard is actually inside those units, this particular device can hook over and allow you to emanate light from either side from either side of the light fitting.
Now there are two particular types that are available, but the one that I am going to talk to you today, and the other one is just a bigger version of this, is the smaller of the two. And this is the actual light fitting itself. It is quite unique. It's quite different in its design. The idea is that would actually hook over the headboard and it would then project light on either side of the actual fitting itself. Now it works on the 12-volt system. And if you're thinking that this is just ideal for what we want to try and do, then you will also need a transformer, which I will show you now. And these are optional extras if you need them. This is the transformer that will work in conjunction with this particular fitting. Now it will take up to six lights. There are two connections on the side there and there are four connections on the other side here. And one of the distinct advantages with this as well is you can also plug in a switch if you wanted to switch it on and off other than from the mains.
This is the actual switch that you can supply. It's an optional extra. It's a small, little, dainty switch there. And that's about 11mm. You need to drill about an 11mm hole, and that projection is around about 20mm. But you could have that by the side of your bed, by the side of your unit, and you would be able to switch this light on and off with ease and convenience.
So one of the most critical measurements of this particular unit is how thick of a headboard would it allow you to go into. And that measurement between there and there, this particular gap here, is 31mm. So that gives you some sort of idea as to the thickness of the headboard. So as we have actually powered this up here, let's take a bit of time here and we'll actually plug it in to give you guys an idea of the type of light that you would expect to see from this.
So if I plug that into there like that, as you can see, it's quite discreet. It's actually quite a nice white background light there, as you can see. Now if I was to put the switch into the actual transformer as well, then this will allow us now to be able to switch the unit on and off from the actual light switch. And that's the actual design.
So there you go, guys. That's just another example of the range of LED lighting that we have on our website. This one's obviously been designed for the bedroom and of course then for that backboard that headboard that you would have on your bed. Of course, it can be used in other applications. It doesn't have to be specific for that, but that is what it was obviously engineered for, and that is what it was designed for.
But listen, if you need a bit more of advice on this particular light or any of the other range that we have online, by all means pop online. Use the live chat that we have or give us a call or pop us over an email. Either way, we would love to hear from you and, more importantly, we would love to see you as a customer. So for me, Darrel, and all of us here at the team, take care and we will catch you real soon. Bye-bye now.
