The Loox Compatible 12V LED Two Faces Bathroom Mirror Light may have bathroom in the title, but this chic and unique design would not look out of place over a vanity mirror or large hallway mirror. It would also look suitably stylish in a hair salon or make-up boutique

This comes complete with a bracket for top fixing onto the mirror itself and the fixing materials required to install. It is designed to sit in the centre of the mirror as the two faces will then project the light either side. It has a frosted plastic cover which is ideal for creating a practical light, but does also double up as feature lighting due to the cover dimming the light slightly to create a subtle ambience.

It is IP44 rated which means it can handle the occasional splashing, but you will need to consult with an electrician before installing due to the driver and mains lead requirements of staying safe and dry in a sealed location.

It also comes complete with a 1800mm lead with Loox 12V connector. The length of the lead means it is possible to place the driver and mains lead outside of the bathroom.

Voltage: 12V and this does come available in two lengths which does impact the wattage; 300mm=6W, 500mm=10W; you will need to purchase a Loox 12V Driver, Mains Lead and Switch separately.

Loox Compatible 12V LED Two Faces Bathroom Mirror Light

Hi, guys. My name is Darrel and I'm head of the tech team here at LocksOnline. Thanks for taking some time to tune in and have a look at one of our product review videos.
Now today, we're going to be talking about the new range of LED lights that we have on our sister site, LocksOnline.com. And this particular light that we have here is designed to work with a mirror. It's called a mirror light. The idea is that you would set this on a kitchen or a bathroom mirror and you would set it on the top and it would emanate the light from either side. So you'd look and try to set it in the centre of a mirror that you may have. And, of course, it's 12 volts. It's got an IP44 rating so it's okay to get a little bit of a splash now and again. And, of course, you've got this lovely, shiny, reflective centre there, which basically moulds itself into the mirror in general.
Now it has a fixing on the top here, as you can see, and that will allow you then to put two screws down into the mirror that you may have. And that would then hold it sitting up at the top like that. That idea is that the cable would run in behind and would run then to a transformer. And, of course, you've got to be conscious of the fact that you're working with mains power in a kitchen. It would be well worth you checking an electrical wholesale or electrical contractor to make sure you do that right.
Now if you're thinking that this is just ideal for you, you'll also need a transformer. And these are the transformers that come as standard. It can actually have up to six different lights, two on the side and four across the front. But one unique addition to this particular type of transformer, it also has a connection here. I don't know if you can zoom in to have a look. That allows you to put a switch in. So it allows you, if you've got a part of a unit assembly or something like that, you can actually put a switch in there and that will allow you then to switch on and off this particular light.
So we've taken the opportunity of actually connecting this to power. We're now in a position where we can actually plug this in so you can actually see how the light actually works. So if I take that and plug that into there like that and there you go. That's the actual fitting there now. And as you can see, it's designed that the light emanates from either side if you can see there. So it would be a bit of a him and her sort of mirror assembly if you're thinking of something like that in a particular unit assembly. And, of course, you can see it's also lit then, you can see it emanating a very white light, which is obviously good for detail.
Now as I've mentioned, you can actually put a switch in. So I'll just put that down for a second. And these are the switches. They're available separately, and there's a very, very small little switch like that that can be put on the side of the unit or on the assembly, anywhere you think that it will be easy to get at. And it's, quite simply, switch on, switch off. It's simple as that.
So if I actually plug this into the side of this now, and there you go, that's in there like that. I am now in a position where I can turn around and switch this on and off. And that's the basic assembly. That's the basic kit that you want to be looking at for a kitchen or a bit of vanity assembly in your bedroom or something similar if that suits you.
So there you go, guys. That's one of the lights that's available on our website, LocksOnline.com. But listen, if you need a bit more information or you want a bit more of advice, you can always pop online, use the live chat that we have. You can either speak to me or any of the guys in the tech team. Or, alternatively, give us a call or pop us an email. Either way, we'd love to hear from you and, more importantly, we'd love to see you as a customer. So from me, Darrel, and all of us here at the team, take care. We'll catch up with you really soon. Bye-bye now.
