Hi, guys. My name is Darrel and I'm head of the tech team here at LocksOnline. Thanks for taking some time to tune in and have a look at one of our product review videos.
I want to talk to you about the range of LED lighting now that we have now at our sister site, LocksOnline.com. It's absolutely a massive range. And what's actually quite important, what's quite exciting for us, is that we've got such a dexterity of different types of light for function, for mood, for ambiance, for detail, all in the range of LED lighting. We got green and RGB type lighting; we got types of white to warm white and bright white sort of lighting as well. And not to mention any other one, but this actual fitting here is an absolutely fantastic fitting that's been designed to be put in closets or walk in areas where you need that little bit of lighting but you don't necessarily want to be messing around with switches and the like.
This particular type of fitting will be screwed up into the top of your unit or something similar like that. And if you were to zoom in here for us, you will see that it has a little motion sensor lens right in the centre there. The idea is that when it detects on and it will switch itself on and stay for up to 30 seconds if it doesn't detect any further motion. If it continues to detect motion, then of course it is going to stay on. So the idea is that if you have a closet or a cupboard or anything like that that you think is a bit dark and you want a little bit of light in there, then maybe this is the type of fitting that you'll be looking for.
Now, if you're thinking that you want to invest in one of those, you also need to invest in a transformer. This is the 30-watt range transformer and it has the ability to connect up to six different fittings around the edge there. You see there are four across the edge there and also two along the side. So what I'm going to do this is actually powered up. But before I go there, we've got the actual instructions here because it might actually explain a little bit easier on how this actually works. So there they have the instructions. See if you can zoom in on that.
So you could pause it if you wanted to. But as you can see there, you got the lady in the dressing unit there. And you can see then that the light is fitted in the ceiling and it's actually then locking then down. As the person is moving below it, you can see then that the light would come on. So that's the principle. That's the idea behind it. And there are some measurements as well that I think you should be able to get there with the detail of the image if you look closely enough. So that gives you some sort of idea as to how it all works.
So what I'm going to do now is that I'm going to plug it in. Obviously, it's hard to test it because it needs to be solid. It needs to be in a fixed location. You need to then let it settle down and then it takes a couple of minutes to settle down, which we won't have time to do in the video. But nevertheless, we'll switch it on and I'll give you at least an opportunity to see how white the light is. So there you go. As you can see there now, it's an incredibly bright light. And, of course, it is a white light. It's 3-watt when it comes to LED light fittings. There you go. It's switched itself off now so it's settled itself down. So as I move there, as you can just see there, I've just moved my hand in front of it and it's come back on.
Now, that will stay on as long as it doesn't detect any motion, or if I could stand perfectly still for up to 30 seconds. That's the actual fitting there, that's it now with its white light on and there are the fixings there. The fixings are just two screw holes on either side there that you would screw up into the substrate or whatever you're trying to fit it to.
So there you go, guys. That's just one of the range of LED fittings. That's quite bright. Let me just pop that tab there just like that. One of the range of LED fittings that we have and of course, there's a whole myriad there. So even if this one isn't what you're looking for, then there's a good chance that we've got something there specific for your particular application.
