This Loox 12V LED 2018 Flexble Reading Light is a quirky solution for all those late night readers who struggle to get enough light through an ordinary bedside lamp.
This reading light has a flexible neck, also known as a goose neck, which allows its user to play around with the angle they receive their light from.
It also has the really modern feature of a swivel light head which you use to switch the reading light on/off.
The mounting is really simple. You can either choose to surface mount (fixings included) or you can drill through the mounting. You will need to create a 8mm access hole.
Voltage: 12V. Wattage: 2W
You will also need to purchase a Loox 12V driver and mains lead separately.
Emits a warm white glow which is ample enough for reading but also allows you to relax and for others in the room to drift off to sleep. Please note this light is not dimmable.
Comes complete with a silver grey finish, which can blend in with most furniture and accessories.
Also comes with a 2.0m lead with connector.

Hi, guys. My name's Darrel and I'm head of the tech team here at LocksOnline. Thanks for taking the time to tune in and have a look at one of our product review videos.
Now on our sister site, LocksOnline.com, we now have a massive range of Loox LED lighting. And what I have here in front of you, just to show you in the flesh, the reading light that's now available on our website. So if you wanted to move the camera down a little bit, here's the actual reading light itself. It's roughly around about just over half a metre long, as you can see there. It's totally flexible. You can actually bend it all the way down, no problem at all, like that. Now, the reading light comes with about 2 metres of wire. It's LED as we've already mentioned, and of course it's 12-volt.
What's quite unique about this particular one is it has a switch. I don't know if you zoom right in close there. But the switch, the head here, if I rotate this, that's the actual switch there. That's all it does is rotate like that and that switches it on and off. Now, if you're thinking of having these in your bedroom on the units on either side, or in the kitchen somewhere, or where ever in the study then, what you also need is a transformer in conjunction with this.
This is the type of transformer that you would need to be looking at. It's in the accessory options to the actual product should you need to have a transformer. On the end here, you notice you can have up to six plugs. There are two on the side and there are four of them across the back here. So you can actually wire up to six of these lights with this particular transformer. So what I'm going to do, we've actually managed to power this transformer up so we can have a look at how this light actually works.
So on the end of this cable now, you've got the plug there. We plug that into there, you can zoom in and show that. The light is on; it's already on. There it is now, you can see it's on there now. So, if was to rotate the head, that switches it off and switching it on there. I don't know if you can get that on the video there nice and close. Yeah? So, if you can imagine now, we can probably bend that like that. There you go guys, there are two little fixings there. I'll get you some measurements on those here in a minute. There you go. You can then move that to wherever you want and however you want it. When you want to finish there, you just switch it on and off like that. Absolutely fantastic value for money. The build quality is brilliant and of course, the finish then is in this gunmetal grey, which is a good choice, in my view.
The centre fixings there, they have a little flange. You're going to have to drill a hole in whatever you're deciding to fit this to. The size of the hole there would be about 30mm. The size of the screw centres, just to get that fairly quickly there, you're looking at around about 25, 26, maybe 27mm centres across there for screw fixings. So there you go, guys. It's the Loox, it's the 12-volt LED flexible reading light. It's available on our website, LocksOnline.com.
