Hi, guys. My name is Darrel and I'm head of the tech team here at LocksOnline. Thanks for taking some time to tune in and have a look at one of our product review videos.
Today we're going to talk to you about the massive range of LED lighting that we have on our sister site, LocksOnline.com. We're kind of putting these little videos together to be able to give our customers a bit more insight in regards to the products that we sell and be able to talk to you about the product to see whether or not this is actually what you're looking for or perhaps there's something else that you may need.
So this particular fitting that we have here today is a 24-volt LED light fitting that's designed to fit in underneath your drawers. And this is wide one in your kitchen. This is one of the wide ones. You can imagine you could have a big drawer and this would sit in underneath the drawer. So as you would open the drawer like that, this would actually illuminate all the contents within the drawers. Now this is a pretty long one. There are different lengths of these available on our site, and one of the distinct advantages of this particular unit is that it has this sensor here in the centre. I don't know if you can actually zoom in there. And that particular sensor senses whether or not the actual drawer is closed or open. Now to be able to fix this in, you've got this fixing kit here that allows you to fix on either side like that, and therefore then, this sits in underneath the drawer unit there like that.
The actual lights, as you can see, they're actually designed to be illuminating. You've got four of the LED fittings there and they're incredibly bright because they're on the 24-volt system, which means you can have smaller transformers, etc. So we've got a transformer here. This is a typical transformer. This is a 15-watt transformer, and as you can see on the front there, you've got up to six connectors can actually be fitted, or six fittings can be fitted onto this transformer. You need to be conscious of the amount of wattage, and you need to check what the wattage of every device is to make sure you don't exceed. That's an important thing that you need to be checking out.
So what we're going to do is let's power this unit up and give you guys an opportunity to see exactly how it works. So if I plug that in over here like this and I just pull that lead out a little bit there, okay, and we can put that into there like that, okay. And now we've got it lit up. Of course, it thinks that there's no drawer in the way and, therefore, it's now illuminating the contents of the drawer. As soon as the drawer shuts like that, or the cupboard, as you can see that now it's switched itself off. So if I move my hand away, the lights come on, and as I move my hand towards it, the lights go off. So there you have it. That's a bit of fun with that, perhaps.
But that's the idea behind this particular fitting, so it's designed to illuminate into cupboards, etc., and drawers where, as you close the door, then you don't want the lights on unnecessarily, and this sensor actually achieves that result. So there's no interface. You don't need to switch the light on by pressing a button etc. It knows as to whether or not there's anything there or not.
So there you go guys, just a short little video. Gives you the opportunity to see this particular light fitting in the flesh. And it might be exactly what you want. But, if this isn't, then we've got a massive range of different type of light fittings and our objective is to create these small little videos to give you guys the opportunity to be able to see the product in the flesh. So I hope this has helped you a little bit. But if you need a bit more information, by all means, pop online. Use the live chat that we have on our website, give us a call or pop us over an email. We'd love to hear from you and, more importantly, we'd love to see you as a customer. So from me, Darrel, and all of us here at the LocksOnline team, thanks for taking the time to tune in, and we'll catch up with you real soon. Take care. Bye-bye now.
