Hi, guys. My name is Darrel and I'm the head of the tech team here at LocksOnline. All of us guys here are laughing a little bit because we have been trying to get this particular LED light that we have on our website to work in the studio light. Believe it or not, we are having to record this video in the darkness to be able to show our customers how this particular LED light works.
It's designed to sit inside of a drawer or it's designed to sit in a cupboard where invariably there's a dark environment. There is a photocell actually in this particular device that knows whether or not it is too bright. If it is too bright it won't switch on, and that is why we have had to turn the lights down to try to get it to work. So it's a little bit on and off at this moment in time, because we have to put some sort of lighting in place for us to have a look at that. So this is the actual product itself, and chances are it may come on and off now as we try to operate it.
That is the basic concept of it. We've had to drop the lights down to be able to show you customers how it actually works. There you go, like that. Now on the back of it, I don't know whether we actually have enough light to zoom in. The actual on and off switch is situated at the back there, as you can see. It's also designed to work where you can charge it via USB cable. So, you can plug it into your computer and you are able to then charge it via a charging port here on the back end here. I don't know if you can actually see that there. There's a little LED there to indicate then the amount of charge that you've got. It should last somewhere in a region of a good few hours if it happened to stay on.
But, that is the idea of how it actually works so, that's the actual light. It's quite intense, so the idea is that would sit in underneath . . . I don't know if you can see that on there on the cabinet. That would sit there inside, underneath the drawer and as soon as you open the drawer, it would notice the fact that the drawer moved and therefore then a light would come on automatically and you would be able to see the contents inside.
The actual bracket that sits there on top of that, I could probably put that in the light and you'd be able to see it. That would actually be on the actual top, underneath the drawer there, and then this would slide onto it and you could fix it onto the surface there like that. If I were to turn that there, like that, it would hold it in position there like that. See? So that would then hold it up. To you can take it off, plug it into your computer, charge it up and that's a really, really great little LED light. Of course, you've got loads and loads of hours in regards to its operation. So I'm hoping that even though it is a bit dark here, I'm hoping that it's giving you an opportunity to see this and see whether or not it's the application that you're looking for.
Of course you don't need any power to it. It works off its own in-built batteries that you can charge from a USB port.
