Hi, guys. My name's Darrel and I'm the head of the tech team here at LocksOnline. Thanks for taking some time to tune into one of our product review videos.
Now we're doing these collections of different videos to be able to give our customers the unique opportunity to be able to see the product in the flesh. We believe here at LocksOnline that having some videos of the products really gives you an insight as to whether or not this is the particular product to suit your application.
Now the range of products we're going to be talking about today is the massive range of LED lighting we have over at our sister site, LocksOnline.com. And this particular light that we have here in front of us today is a motion sensor LED light. It's a battery operated motion sensor LED light that's specifically designed for areas where you can't get power to them. Now this is the actual light itself, and the idea is that this would sit up into a closet or on a side similar like that, depending on your particular application, and it has three high wattage LED lamps, as you can see there.
This particular one here is the actual motion sensor. This actually detects motion, and when it sees you, it will actually switch the lights on, and they'll stay on then for around about 30 seconds. If it doesn't detect any more motion, then it's going to automatically switch off. If there still is motion because you're still in the cupboard having a look around, then of course that sensor is going to keep on triggering you, and therefore then it's going to constantly stay on. Now if it were to stay on without being switched off, you would expect to get somewhere in the region of three to four hours on the cycle of the battery inside.
Now one of the distinct advantages of this particular type is that you can charge it up. You can actually it up via a computer USB lead, and it actually comes with a USB lead with a micro-USB, and the idea is that you would plug it into there, and you would leave it then to charge up. And when that LED there goes green, then you then know that the unit if fully charged. Now the bracket on here is quite clever. It actually uses magnets, and this is the actual bracket here, and you would screw this up. It comes with some fixing screws as well, so you would screw this up to wherever you want it to be. And then when you then got it in the location that you want, you simply push this up here against that like that. It clips into position. I can hardly hold it by just my nails, and there you are. That's held now into position wherever you decide that you wanted to put it.
On the back as well, you see there it has an on and off switch that allows you to switch the device on and off. So let's switch it on. The chances are as soon as it detects motion, it's going to detect us within about a couple of seconds or so forth, the LED lights are going to stay on. I would have to stand still for at least 30 seconds, which I'm sorry is a bit impossible for me, so the chances are we're not going to actually see it switch on and off in regards to motion detect.
So there you go. There now on. It's going to take a while for it to settle down, and you know, I've got better things to do than sit here and wait for 30 seconds. I'm sure you have as well, but it gives you some sort of idea. You can see there that if I put that against my hand there, you can see that there's quite a nice light. It's not the brightest of light, but it gives you enough, and I mean of course we're in the studio lighting here, but it gives you enough to be able to, if you've got a dark closet or a dark area, to be able to give you some sort of lighting, which is absolutely grand.
So there you go, guys. It's available on our website, LocksOnline.com. It comes with a charging lead as well, which is a micro-USB, and obviously it comes with some fixings as well. But listen, if you need a bit more information on this product or any of the products that we have on our website, by all means, you know, pop us over an email. Use the live chat that we have online.
