This Tikla Folding Table Bracket is ideal if you require extra working space in the home or workroom, without a permanent fixture.
This comes complete with a hinge mechanism and is suitable for work surfaces and benches.
This does have a carrying capacity of 100kg per pair (2 pieces = 1 pair) and they come available in lengths of 360mm - 660mm. Supports must not be positioned further than 600mm apart to achieve this capacity.
Working the hinge mechanism:
- To Raise: Bringe the supporting arm upwards to a horizontal position. Press backwards to lock the supporting arm in the pivot aperture.
- To Fold Down: Slightly raise the arm, the bolts in the pivot aperture unlock. The arm is pulled forward (approximately 10mm) which disengages the locking pin. Then fold down.

Hi, guys. My name is Darrel and I'm the head of the tech team at LocksOnline. Thanks for taking some time to tune it and have a quick look at one of our product review videos. Now we are putting these short little videos together to be able to give you, our customer, the opportunity to see the products that we have to offer in a little bit more detail and be able to show it to you and its operation, etc.
Today I want to talk to you about these table hinges that we have. They are designed to work with . . . You might have a wall where you want to have a temporary table and be able to lift the table up when you want to use it and when you've finished using you are able to drop it down. So that's the idea. This is the actual leg here. It's the table leg here. So the idea is this would be bolted to a wall. Okay now it doesn't come with fixings so you would choose the fixings depending on the type of wall you plan on fitting this to. It's got two fittings there and there is one there.
Now the overall length there as you can see . . . and the idea is quite simple. The table would actually be sitting on here. They are sold as a pair. And then when you wanted to drop the table down you would pull the table away from the wall like that, lift it up slightly, and then it would then drop down like that and therefore then drop down to the floor and it would sit there then like that. So when you wanted to use the table and if you can zoom in to the top unit [there] because what's happening up here is you'd lift it up like that keeping it upwards. Inside there . . . I don't know if you can zoom right in there a little bit closer. You can see that there's a little pin that's on the actual back-plate there and the idea is when it goes up to that position then you would then push it on to that bolt into that pin. It would then sit down into those little settings there. There's one there and on the other side there and then to be honest with you, that's not going anywhere.
Okay, so it has some screw fittings here that allows you then to able to screw the work surface to and of course then you would need to look at your bolting ability here. And the manufacturers claim that it's capable as a pair to hold about . . . I think it's over 100 kilos. It's quite substantial anyway. I think the exact data is on our website.
Now while I got this here, let's give you guys a few quick look measurements because it might be of interest to you. So the overall length of this unit to the wall is 655 . . . 656mm. The width of this plate here on the back end here is . . . Let's have a look at that. That there is 155mm and the height of that there is 115mm. Okay, now the size of these screw holes here because you are going to need to get yourself some fixings, they are there 6mm. That's the size of those holes there for you.
So there you go, guys. That's just one of the products that we have on our website. Hopefully, this video's given you a little bit more information than perhaps the image and a bit of descriptive text may have to offer and actually show you the product in the flesh so you got an idea how it works. But if you need a bit more information on this product or any of the range that we have, by all means, pop us over an email, use the live chat that we have, or simply pop us over a call. Either way, we'd love to hear from you and more importantly, we'd love to see you as a customer. So from me Darrel and all of us here at the team, thanks for taking the time to tune in. We'll catch you real soon. Bye-bye now.
