Hi, guys. My name is Darrel and I'm head of the tech team here at LocksOnline. Thanks for taking some time to tune in and have a quick look at one of our product review videos. Now I'm putting these short, little videos together to be able to give you, our customers, the opportunity to see the products that we have in the flesh, so to speak, and hopefully be able to give you a little bit more informed information that maybe an image or a bit of descriptive text may not necessarily offer.
Today I want to talk to you about a flap hinge that we have on our website. It's quite a nice little designed product here. It's obviously designed for something like a bureau or something like that where you've got a cover that you want to be able to open up or sit down, etc., and therefore, when it comes up, it closes into position. Now they come in a few different sizes and a few different diameter sizes but we've chosen this one out of the range. The idea is that this would actually be fitted onto the door and this would be fitted into the base and when the actual door closes, it actually lifts the actual door up away from the actual base and then drops it back down at the end. I don't know if you got that in the video. I'll do it again. So if it's coming back can you see that it's actually being raised high and of course, that's designed to stop any scratching or anything like that on the base, etc., so there's a lot of thought gone into that and making sure that it sits flush then once it's actually down in its open position.
Now it's got three screw fixings here and it's got three screw fixings here. The actual screw fixings here are actually slightly slanted in an outward scope there so it grips the actual surface and spreads itself out to grip its actual weight. So the overall measurements of this particular unit are, if I was to measure these for you now, the overall diameter of this one here is 30 millimetres, the depth of it there is 12 millimetres, and the size of this particular unit as well is 30 millimetres. The overall length of the actual flap hinge altogether is I would say round about 48 millimetres the overall length there.
So there you go, guys. Just being able to show you this in the flesh, so to speak, gives you the opportunity to see whether or not this is the actual product that you're looking for and to give you that little bit more information. But if you need a bit more info on this or any of the products that we have, by all means, pop us over an email, use the live chat that we have, or simply pick up the phone and give us a call. Either way, we'd love to hear from you, and more importantly, we'd love to see you as our customer. So from me, Darrel, and all of us here at the team, thanks for taking the time to tune in and we'll catch up with you real soon. Bye-bye.
