Hi, guys. My name's Darrel and I'm head of the tech team here at LocksOnline. Thanks for taking some time to tune in and have a quick look at one of our product review videos. Now, we're putting these short little videos together to be able to give you, our customers, the opportunity to see the products that we have to offer in a little bit more detail, in the flesh, so to speak, than perhaps an image and a bit of descriptive text may not necessarily give you, the feel or the touch of what you're actually seeing, and whether or not this is actually suitable for your application.
Today I'm going to talk to you about a pull handle that we have. Such a beautiful and elegant design there. Can you see that there? Of course, this would obviously be on a drawer or a cupboard, depending on what you'd want to use it for. As you can see there, if I put my hand in here, it's not bad. It's quite a substantial handle when it comes to actually its functionality. Its form, as well, is quite inspiring, actually. There's been a lot of thought gone into its design. And it's got, it's like a brushed, satin sort of silver finish as well. And I must admit, I quite like it, myself. I think it looks incredibly stylish. If you can imagine those in your kitchen units or on some cupboards, etc., depending on your application. Of course, this can be fitted vertically or horizontally depending on your application.
Now, on the back end of this handle, as well, you'll see there we've got some projection flutes here which were obviously designed to accept the screws. And these handles actually come with some screws. I'll get some measurements on those just in a short while. So you need to be conscious that if you're fitting this onto anything, you're going to have to make sure that the substrate has got to be at least 11 millimetres thick. If it's any less than that, then this might actually cause a bit of a problem for you.
Now, the actual fittings that come with these, if we can quickly have a look at these, they've come in a little sealed packet there, like that. And they're actually designed to be snapped off. You can see that these snapping off intervals there, depending on your applications so you can cut those with a pliers. The overall length of these is 45 millimetres. So if you take the ten millimetres as well, if you were to say that five millimetres needs to be at least screwed into there, you've got somewhere in the region of 50 millimetres of substrate in which to fit these, this particular handle onto. I would go a little bit more than that and keep it a little bit thinner than that. But of course you have the ability to snap it or cut that particular screw down to the size that you want.
Very, very quickly as well, on the back end of the screw as well, if you can zoom in enough, you can either use a flat head or a Phillips depending on the application.
Just very, very quickly, let's have a look at some little measurements here of the actual handle itself. The overall length of that, there, is 220 millimetres. The actual width, let's have a quick look at that there, is 40 millimetres. The actual projection there, if I put that on there like that, it's a bit of a rough guess there. You're looking at something in the region of about 28 millimetres, give or take a millimetre there, guys. Depends on the illusion you can see if you want to step back and view it.
So, there you go. A beautiful handle and obviously available on our website.
