The 'Twister' range of handles are a cast zinc alloy, and boast a beautifully crafted twisting 'swirl' effect, and this is the rounded door knob / drawer knob version.
Quite similar to the delightful Walnut Whips many of us know and love, perhaps these may just take your fancy for your drawers and cabinets around the house! (But hopefully not make you too hungry if you are indeed a fan of the ol' walnuts whips!)
Available in two stunning finishes of Antique Pewter or Antique Brass, these are ideal for a more aged looking furniture unit, or indeed for helping bring that rustic, vintage feel to your home.
Bear in mind these do not come with fixings so check out the fixings listed further down on the page!

Hi guys. My name is Darrel and I'm head of the tech team here at LocksOnline. Thanks for taking some time to tune in and have a quick look at one of our product review videos. Now I'm putting these short little videos together to be able to give you, our customers, the opportunity to see the products that we have to offer and hopefully a little bit more detail in the flesh, so to speak.
So today I want to show you quite a novel door knob or a cabinet or a drawer knob that we have on our website. It's called the Twister. It's available in a brass or this particular metal finish as you can see here, in a pewter sort of finish. And of course it's got this quite eye-deceiving twist to it. It kind of looks like a bit of a walnut whirl. If you're watching this video in the UK, you'll probably know what that is.
There is also a range of different types of handles available in this particular range. So you can have a T-type of handle, and there is also a pole handle as well that's also available in this particular style. Now of course when you see it from the side, it gives you this bit of an optical illusion that it doesn't really sit right. But it does actually sit beautiful there as you can see on the cabinet.
Now it comes with a standard fixing gear that allows you to fix in to around about, I would suggest about 16 millimetres. That's 25 millimetres long there. So anything up to about 20 mil thick you'd get away with fitting this on your draw or your cupboard. It's a standard 4 millimetre fixing there. If you want to zoom in there, you can have a look at the type of fixing that you'll be looking at.
So while I have this now, let's get some measurements on it for you so therefore then it would give you an idea as to whether or not it's going to fit your particular application. So the overall length of the actual unit itself, of the knob itself, that there projects out around about 42 millimetres from one end to the other. The diameter there of this particular knob is around about 30 millimetres. And the base also, the measurement of the base itself, just in case you want to try and hide maybe an existing hole or you want to update your furniture there, that right there is about 18.5 millimetres wide there.
So there you go guys. It's quite a novel product. It's kind of novel in its design, etc. It certainly has its benefits in regards to trying to make something a little bit more traditional perhaps.
But listen, if you need a bit more information on this or any of the products that we have, pop us over an email, use the live chat that we have, or simply do it the old-fashioned way, pick up the phone and give us a call. Either way, we'd love to hear from you, and more importantly we'd love to see you as one of our customers. So from me Darrel and all of us at the team, thanks for taking the time to tune in and I hope to catch up with you really soon. Take care now. Bye-bye.
