These bow handles are very simplistic in their design, but it really works. The outcome of the simplicity of design is a very elegant and clean handle, that would look perfect on so many different styles of cabinets and furniture.
With so many bow handles, you can sometimes find it difficult to get more than a couiple of fingers behing the handle, but on these you have a decent amount of room for three or four as seen in the product video.
Made from a zinc alloy, and beautifully finished with an almost polished nickel effect. These don't come with fixing screws, purely because it depends on the cabinet door / drawer front thickness of the unit you're going to be fitting them to, so be sure to order some!

Hi, guys. My name is Darrel. I'm head of the tech team here at LocksOnline. Thanks for taking some time to tune in and have a quick look at one of our product review videos. Now we are putting these short little videos together to be able to give you, our customers, the opportunity to see the products in a little bit more detail than may be you might get from an image or a bit of descriptive text.
Today I want to talk to you about Melbury handle that we have. It's called the Melbury range of handles that is more like a bow handle really that we have on our website obviously designed for drawers, designed for cupboards and cabinets, etc., maybe a kitchen or your bathroom or perhaps the bedroom, etc. And this is the actual handle itself. It's got a beautifully finish. The stainless steel finish on the actual handle itself there. It's looking well-engineered. Somebody's actually taken a little bit of thought in regards to the finish on this handle. Beautifully weighted. You can see that there's been a lot of care in regards to manufacture of this particular handle.
Now it comes with screw fittings here on the back as you can see and the manufacturers in this particular case have chosen to supply some screw fittings to it so I will talk about that in a second. The idea of this is that there is a slight bow in it and what we'll do is we'll get some measurements on that now just to give you some sort of idea. So the actual overall length of the actual handle itself is about 172mm from edge to edge. Let's get those fixing centres because that is quite important if you are thinking of retrofitting these and I'm getting that in at round about 160 maybe 161mm give or take about a half a millimetre. The actual width of the handle at the base there is about 21mm.
Another nice measurement as well to consider is if you can imagine that's what you plan on putting the handle on, as you can see there I can grip that quite easy there with my hand. They come under quite nicely there to be able to pull either a drawer open or perhaps a cabinet. Honestly, what I can do as well is if I was to put that ruler there against there, that would give you some sort of idea then as to how much the handle comes off the substrate that you plan on fitting it on to as you can see there.
Okay, so now coming on to the fixings. They come as a standard pack of fixings there as you can see and the actual length of the actual screw there is 25mm. So designed really for cabinets like kitchen units, etc. Think that you probably need like 5mm into the actual fitting to get a good purchase. So you are looking at something substrates up there around about 20mm will be ideal with the screws that come supplied with the handle.
So there you go, guys. That's just one of the products that we have on our website.
