These worktop connecting clamps are ideal if you're indulging in a bit of cabinetry or home design and wish to connect worktops or benches together. These would typically be mounted to the underside of the two units, but can of course be mounted on the top if it would be easier and the visibility and intrusion of them is not an issue.

Hi, guys. My name is Darrel and I'm head of the tech team here at LocksOnline. Thanks for taking some time to tune in and have a quick look at one of our product review videos. Now I'm putting these short little videos together to be able to give you, our customers, the opportunity to see the products that we to offer and hopefully in a little bit more detail or in the flesh, so to speak, and help you make a bit better of an informed decision as to whether or not this is the product that you're looking for.
Now the product that I have here or the device for that matter, it's a unit that's designed that if you're looking at putting some worktops together and you want to clamp them in really, really tight and make a lovely fine line there on your worktops, maybe this is the unit that you'd be looking for that is designed to be fitted in underneath the actual work tops like that, and then when you've got them up together, you have the ability then to be able to screw this in. I mean, obviously you could go that way as well, but to be able to screw it in and basically pull the two work tops together and clamp them into position. And obviously then that's going to make that joint lovely and tight.
It doesn't come with screw fixings, so you need to consider the type of work unit you're using and therefore then you can put your own screw fixings in here and 'counter-sink' them. We do have screws on our site if you need some as well. So, just let you be aware of that.
Now, the overall length here, that's just, I've just managed to screw that in by a couple of turns there, so it's gripping there. If I just do it a little bit more, now we can see that's got the thread in there tight. So, this now has got a space in between the centre here of around about 50 millimetres, just longer than 50 millimetres there, maybe 51, 52. You can zoom in there and see that there. So, that gives you the idea of the amount of range that this particular clamp has.
Also, what is quite interesting as well is the actual head on this here, as you can see, it's actually designed to be able to put a flat blade in that way. Or there may be times when, because you're working in underneath the units and in between the carcasses, you could actually put a flat blade screwdriver in the side there and rack it up like that as well. So, that's quite a unique design and obviously designed for that particular application.
So there you go, guys. I'll just quickly get you some measurements of these bases here. The actual width of that particular base there is about 32 millimetres and therefore, this particular part here, right up to the end there is around about 45 millimetres. If you need to know a bit more information on this or any other products that we have, by all means, pop us over an e-mail, use the live chat that we have, or give us a call. Either way, we'd love to hear from you and more importantly, we'd love to see you as one of our customers. So from me Darrel, and all of us at the team, thanks for taking the time to tune in. Hope the video has done you okay and we'll speak to you real soon.
