These housing braces are designed to support cabinet carcass walls to regain strength in areas that have had additional installation work done, which may have compromised the structural integrity of the units.
This is most common when installing built-in appliances, and the need to remove the unit base etc can harm the structure of the unit walls - this is where these wall braces for cabinets will come into play.
Formed from mild-steel, these are simply designed to support two walls and securely keep them parallel.

Hi guys, my name is Darrel, and I am head of the tech team here at LocksOnline. Thanks for taking some time to tune in and have a quick look at one of our product review videos. Now, we're putting these short little videos together to be able to give you, our customers, the opportunity to see the product that we have to offer in perhaps a little more detail or a little bit more information than what maybe the image or the descriptive text may have to offer.
Today I want to show you quite a novel little product. It's designed as a carcass brace. So if you're building a kitchen and you're wanting to put appliances into the actual kitchen assemblies etc. so therefore then your fridge, freezer, or your dishwasher is actually part of the kitchen.
Sometimes you may need to brace the sides of the carcass, in other words the MDF, or the chip board, sides, etc. to be able to allow it to sit in there nice and tidy. And this particular unit is designed for that particular application in mind.
They come as a pair, so you could fit one at the top...I'd say on the front edge and maybe one on the back as well. On the back edge of the-of the carcass etc. That's predominately where they would go, but there's nothing stopping with you fitting them wherever you please, depending on how you can actually strengthen the carcass. So, that's the idea or the cupboard, etc. So that's the idea of these particular braces.
So, the overall length of these, if I was to give you a quick little measurement of that. All the measurements are on our website. But I'll just give you a quick little measurement on that. Uh you're looking there at an overall fixing of 570 millimetres and that's from edge to edge as well. the actual thickness of the bar here as well... if I can give you that as well. That is about 6-millimetre bar as you can see.
So, they're sold in pairs. There's not really much that we can tell you about them. They're obviously designed just to strengthen up and brace up a kitchen carcass fitting assembly.
But if you need a bit more information on these or any of the products that we have, pop us over an email, use the live chat that we have, or simply just, uh pick up the phone and give us a call. Either way we'd love to hear from you, and more importantly, we'd love to see you as one of our customers.
So, from me, Darrel, and all of us here at the team, catch up with you real soon. Thanks for taking the time.
