Hi, guys. My name is Darrel and I'm head of the tech team here at LocksOnline. Thanks for taking some time to tune in and have a quick look at one of our product review videos. Now, we put these short little videos together to be able to give you, our customers, the opportunity to see the products that we have to offer in a little bit more detail and hopefully you can see the product in the flesh and make a bit better of an informed decision as to whether or not this is the product that you are looking for.
So today I want to show you about a door restrictor that we have it allows you to be able to fit this at the head of a door. This is all a stranded Euro groove as well, so it could actually be used on a UPVC door as well, and this would actually sit up into the frame. And the idea is, as you open the door, you will be able to utilise this then to slide the door open etc., to be able to have whatever position that you want.
Now, on this particular part here which will be situated on the actual door itself you can see that there's loads of holes here and by using these stoppers here which will then screw through to the actual bottom of the, into the door, you can then make the adjustment as to how far you want the door to actually open, so that's your ability to adjust there like screw in those in there too whatever you wanted to be. And similar then, this one to go on the end here as well then which will be your stop.
Also, this screw here allows you, if you tighten that up, it actually increases the grip on this and therefore then classified as a degree of friction on that as well. Now, when it comes to fitting this particular side here, as you can see this is the part that would actually be situated up into the head of the door frame and has the two fixings there on either side.
So what I'll do is I'll just quickly get you some measurements here so I can give you some sort of idea as to the overall measurements on this particular unit. So the size of the actual tray here is just over, well, I'm getting 300 millimetres there and they're both 330 millimetres the overall length there. My ruler is not that long. The actual height as well and notice how far it would actually go down into the door there, I think is probably measuring around about the 12 millimetres there. I think that's fair to say that.
And the actual width there, as well, is 16 millimetres which is the standard Euro groove and there's also a lip there as well as you can see there, which is right about 2 millimetres. This particular part here which will be the part that would fix up into the frame, this overall length there is 75 millimetres and, again, that there is your standard 16 millimetre Euro groove and you also have then your two screw holes there as well.
So there you go, guys. It's just one of the products that we have on our website. If you need more information or you want a bit more advice, there's some pictorial pictures as well on our site there and some diagrams that show how it all works. This can actually open up to around 125 degrees, so way past the 90 if you wanted to hold the door back a little bit further than normal.
But if you need a bit more info on this or any of the products we have by saying that, pop us over an email use the live chat that we have or simply pick up the phone and give us a call. Love to hear from you, and more important, we'd love you see you as a customer. So from me, Darrel, and and all of us at the team, thanks for taking the time to tune in and we'll catch up with you real soon. Take care now. Bye-bye.
