Phoenix have been manufacturing door hardware for years, and are an incredibly popular and well respected company. These butt hinges are no exception to the standards of quality we have come to expect from Phoenix.
Boasting a grade 304 stainless steel construct, and a 10kg holding capacity, these are ideal for internal doors around the home or office. Designed with a large range of door thicknesses in mind, these can be used on doors as small as 15mm thick! (Each leaf projects 15mm out from the edge of the centre knuckle).
Screws for wooden doors and frames are supplied as standard by Phoenix, in the form of 20mm long countersunk 3mm threaded screws.

Hi, guys. My name is Darrel and I'm head of the tech team here on LocksOnline. Thanks for taking some time to tune in and have a quick look at one of our product review videos. Now we're putting these short, little videos together to be able to give our customers the opportunity to see the products that we have to offer, in a little bit more detail than perhaps that a picture or a little bit of descriptive text may not necessairly give you exactly what you are looking for. So, hopefully this short, little video will allow you to see the product in the flesh, so to speak and I'll give you a little more advice on its application, etc.
So today I'm going to talk to you about a small, little pin hinge that we have on our website. It's only a small, little hinge. It's designed to predominantly be with cabinets, etc. and you're looking for doors with a thickness of at least 15 millimetres. It's made out of stainless steel, so that's really good and it's what they call a pin hinge, in other words this is a pin driven down through the centre like that.
Now, it comes as a comes with some screw fixing as well. They're sold as a separate hinge. So, if you wanted a pair, you'd obviously need to buy two. So, they're sold as a separate item. What I'll do, is while I got this hinge here, what I'll do is get, get some quick little measurements for you. So, therefore, if you think this is the ideal little hinge for you, but you just need to make sure, let's get those measurements for you.
So pretend in that would be obviously the projection of the knuckle there. Your thickness there is 15 millimetres there, from the knuckle projection out. And it's overall length there as you can see is 60, 64, yeah, about 63, 64 millimetres the overall length. It comes as a standard two screw hole fittings there as you can see.
So there you go, guys, not really much more you can talk about this particular hinge. It's a light duty hinge. It's designed more for cabinets, more that doors, etc. Not the sort of thing you want to be putting on your front door. But if you need a bit more information on this product, of any of the products that we have on our website, by all means, pop us over an email, use the live chat that we have on our website, or simply just give us a call, either way, we'd love to hear from you and more importantly, we'd love to see you as our customer. So from me Darrel, and all of us here at the team, take care and catch with you real soon.
