Nico have produced an incredibly versatile hinge here, boasting a unique ability to be adjustable without compromising strength. This means not only do you get amazing adjustability, but also you're able to load these up with a substantial weight.
The Load-Pro has a patented design, so you wont get another hinge quite like this anywhere else. This design allows for a formidible hinge with a great degree of flexibility to suit many situations.
These can take a whopping 80kg of load, tested for over 200,000 cycles carrying this weight, and therefore acheiving a Grade 11 British Standard EN-1935.
All adjustability is carried out inside the hinge mount, by simply loosening the four tension screws and adjusting the door position as required. Therefore there is absolutely no need to strip the hinge down to add shims or packers what so ever! All adjustment can be made when the door is already fitted!
Adjustment can be made in all directions. On the vertical axis you can adjust by 2.5mm up or down, on the horizontal axis you can adjust the hinge 2mm left or right, and the depth itsself can also be adjusted by a compression of up to 2mm.
NiCo have decided not to include fixing screws with these as they can be used on a wide range of application, so it's always best for you to consider the correct fixings for your particular application. By all means take a look at our screws & fixings section for a range of options!

Hi, guys. My name is Darrel and I'm head of the tech team here at LocksOnline. Thanks for taking some time to tune in and have a quick look at one of our product review videos. We're putting these short little videos together to be able to give you, our customers, the opportunity to see the products that we have to offer in hopefully a little bit more detail and in flesh, so to speak.
Today I want to show you a hinge that we have on our website. It's a NiCo hinge. The idea of this particular hinge is called the 3D High-Low hinge. One of the distinct advantages of this particular type of hinge is that you've got a massive degree of flexibility. As you can see, I've loosened this all off for obvious reasons, but it allows you be able to move the door inwards and outwards like that. You can move it up and down like that as well, so you have the ability to be able to give yourself a massive degree of dexterity when it comes to actually fitting this particular type of hinge. You do have quite a lot of control in regards to the overall dimensions of the way you want this particular hinge to work.
It's a standard four inch butt hinge. It's designed to work on doors holding up the roundabout 80 kilos, so it's pretty standard in that respect. It's got four hole fixings here, as you can see, and then it also has four hole fixings then on this particular case. As you can notice, because of all this flexibility here, this particular part which would actually be situated where it can be either on the door or the frame, there isn't any preference in respect to that. You would then be able to close them both together there, then you have this massive degree of flexibility, allowing you to move the door upwards or downwards, in or out, depending on the particular application.
As I've already mentioned, the actual hinge itself is 102 millimetres or a standard four inch. It is also available as well in a gold finish. This is the particular nickel finish here. There you go, guys, it just gives you the opportunity to see exactly what degree of divergence. If you've got a door that is swelling or contracting every so often, or you need to have a little bit of flexibility in regards to the way the hinges work, then maybe this is the particular type of hinge that you might be looking for.
