These desk shelf runners are designed to work perfectly for keyboard shelves and other similar desk style pull-out shelves. They offer the well known 'lock-out' function and 'hold-in' function that you would expect on a keyboard shelf, to avoid the shelf moving around while you type or put pressure on the shelf, and also stops it rolling out of its own accord if your floor isn't quite even. What's more, these have a quick and easy disconnect function
Accuride have been specialising in high-end, top-quality runners for years, and so they have no problem producing highly functional, highly durable, and highly graded runners.
Supplied with adjustable height mounting brackets, Accuride have really thought about the design and build of these runners, and have made them extremely universal.
Boasting a high-performance, long-lasting ball bearing race, these runners can take a whopping 35kg of weight before performance is impaired. More than enouigh for your keyboard, printer, scanner beds, or anything else on your pull out desk shelves!
Available in various lengths, the extension available is approximately 75%. So for every 100mm of runner, you should get around 75mm of extension. Specific measurements are shown in your options below!

Hi, guys. My name is Darrel, and I'm head of the tech team here at LocksOnline. Thanks for taking some time to tune in and have a quick look at one of our product reviews.
Now, we're putting these short little videos together to be able to give you, our customers, the opportunity to see the products that we have to offer in, hopefully, a little bit more detail, so you can actually see the product in the flesh, so to speak. Today, I want to show you a range of Accuride Drawer Runners that are designed for perhaps a keyboard desk that allows you to be able to slide out a desk or a bit of a shelf or whatever, out of an assembly, or a kitchen unit, or a working unit, or something like that. Therefore, then you actually put a keyboard, a computer keyboard or anything else that you want to be able to tuck in out of the way, and pull it out when you actually want to use it.
This is the actual set up here. It comes with some adjustable brackets as well, that allows you then to be able to adjust the height here, depending on the particular applications. It comes with fixing screws as well, to be able to then find what height allows you to be able to adjust, depending on its application etc.
Now, one thing with this particular type, this is the part that would be screwed to the actual natural shelf itself, is that when it slides out there like that, there is actually a positive click there as you could probably here there. Therefore when it pulls out to the desired length all the way out, it actually then fixed into position. I've got to give it a little bit of a push now in, like that there, to be able to close it back. It's quite stiff because obviously, we don't have the unit. And then when it goes back up to here as well, it then clamps by that rubber bracket on the end there. Therefore, they're actually holding the shelf into the unit, depending on your application. So that's the way that it actually works. It pulls up all the way.
Now, this is the 400 millimetre version. The measurement is measured from one end to the other end there. That's the measurement or how you get round to measuring these. There are different sizes available on our website. There are also some under-hanging brackets as well, that if you wanted to actually hang the shelf from underneath itself and support in that way, there is also those particular options as well.
Of course, the beauty is with this, is it does allow you the opportunity to see the product in the flesh, and therefore then help a bit better of an informed decision as to whether or not this is the product that you're actually looking for. Of course, they're sold in pairs also. And of course, then you have the four brackets for each individual fixing assembly on either side.
So there you go, guys. Not much really much more that I can say about this, but if you need a bit more information or you want a bit more advice, by all means, pop us over an email. Use the live chat that we have, or simply do it the old-fashioned way, and give us a call. Either way, we'd love to hear from you, and more importantly, we'd love to see you as one of our customers.
So, from me, Darrel, and all of us at the team, thanks for taking the time to tune in. I hope to catch you there real soon. Take care now. Bye-bye.
