• Features:
- As stand alone device or in combination with Gira door communication system, enables convenient door opening for authorised person
- Integration in the GIRA door communication system without additional control components
- Access control system based on biometric characteristics of the human finger using new generation surface-scan technology - uses high frequency scanning of the deepest layer of skin, giving high detection rate and security agianst tampering
- Up to 100 fingers can be managed by the fingerprint reader, no PC or software required
- Can detect signs of life in the finger
- Reliable detection of fingers which for example were slightly injured during gardening (only the top layer of skin was injured)
- The digitised data of the fingerprint is encrypted and can only be detected and processed further by the Gira fingerprint evaluation unit, thereby preventing unauthorised use
- Fingerprint sensors include special software, which constantly check and saves finger information, especially important for children’s fingers which change over time and whose data must therefore be constantly updated
Note: Children’s fingers generally can first be reliably detected from 6 years of age
- Finger can be detected if placed at an angle of up to 15× from the zero axis
- Fast reaction time from placing finger to release:
up to 30 stored fingers approx. 1 second
up to 100 stored fingers approx. 3 seconds
- Night design of fingerprint surface shows where finger must be placed, insert is backlit by white LED
- Two-colour LED display to show status during programming and operation
- Master PIN number provided on included sealed security card if administrator finger is no longer available
- Warning tone in case of unauthorised removal of fingerprint top unit
- Two integrated 2-way switch relays can be assigned two different fingers e.g. thumb: control of door opening, index finger: switching outside light
