Demista heated mirror pads are a simple efficient, ultra slim demister pads which fits inconspicuously behind most bathroom mirrors - existing or newly installed. Once fitted, the heated mirror will never steam up in and around the area of the demister pad. Demista heated mirror pads are manufactured in the UK specifically for mirrors and has been developed from a unique heating system which has been proven for over 30 years. It represents the most up to date standard of technology giving a high degree of temperature stability with complete resistance to moisture, vibration, shock, dust and ageing.

Q. What thickness of mirror can be used?
A. As glass is a good conductor of heat Demista is suitable for use with any normal thickness of mirror.
Q. Can Demista be used with a dimmer switch?
A. This is not advisable as when turned down there would be insufficient power for Demista to be fully effective.
Q. Can the mirror adhesive be applied across Demista?
A. Yes.
Q. What adhesive should be used to bond the mirror to the wall?
A. Any solvent free.
Q. Can more than 1 Demista be fitted to a mirror?
A. Yes, within the limitations of the available power. They should then be fitted in parallel.
Q. Is a transformer required?
A. Only with low volt models.
Q. Can Demista be used with safety backed mirrors?
A. Yes but the backing should be earthed as should all metal parts surrounding the mirror.
Q. Can Demista be cut?
A. No. This will damage the insulation rendering it dangerous.
Q. How much of the mirror should Demista cover?
A. This depends on what area is required to be clear. The area of the mirror that will remain steam free is the area of the Demista Pad plus approximately 20%-30% area around it.
